Ambarish is a guitar player who also happens to sing and is  currently based out of Mumbai, India.
He is influenced by Blues, which comes from his

experiences of life in general and also Funk, Alternative

Rock and other similar genres. Growing up, he listened to

a lot of Indian Classical and folk music that added to his

influence.

 

He listens to every kind of music irrespective of genre. His

main inspirations are Eric Clapton, David Gilmour, BB

King, Indian classical veteran Shankar Mahadevan besides

many others. His musical history goes way back to his

childhood when his mother got him into learning the tabla

against his will. After learning tabla for a couple of years,

he switched to guitar and played it on and off over the

years as a hobby. It was during his time at university that

he discovered his intense love for music, which ultimately

made him take up music full time.

 

Ambarish has released a full length album called 'Awakening' in May 2023 along with a music video of one of the songs called 'Room Full of Comfort' from the album.
He released his fourth single in August 2024 called, ‘Every Step Of The Way’. 

 

Ambarish currently plays under the name ‘The

Ambarish Collective (TAC) with a band or does

solo gigs under his artist name 'Ambarish' in

which he performs his original songs along with

some covers.

Ambarish loves performing live. He has spent a

good amount of time in Los Angeles doing the

same. He loves the energy onstage and lives

every moment of it. He believes that the energy

produced on stage reflects in the crowd played 
in front of.
